David Liddy

David Liddy - MBA

In April 2001, David was appointed as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Queensland. Since his appointment, BOQ has recorded a succession of record half-year and full-year profits which has occurred through a complete transformation of the bank, with the opening of new branches and a return to more traditional, face-to-face, people-focused business and commercial banking services.

David has more than 40 years experience in banking including international postings in both London and Hong Kong. David holds a Masters in Business Administration, is a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is Deputy Chairman of the Australian Bankers’ Association Council. He was awarded the Centenary Medal in 2003 for distinguished service to business and commerce in Banking and Finance, and AB&F’s ‘Financial Services Executive of the Year’ in 2009. David is Chairman of the Queensland Museum Foundation, a member of the Queensland Government’s Smart State Council, and a member of the Federal Treasurer’s Financial Sector Advisory Council (FSAC), which provides advice to the Treasurer on policies that maintain an efficient, competitive and dynamic financial sector.



Stephen Milne

Stephen Milne – Director of Brand and Communication at Riviera

Stephen’s career started in 1980 when he began working as an advertising consultant in publishing. He founded his own advertising and marketing services company in Sydney in 1987 that listed many major multinational brands and the marine industry’s biggest brands as clients. Over an 18 year period, Milne and Partners Advertising received many national and international awards of excellence for their work. In 1997, Milne & Partners began consulting with Riviera in brand development and managing the company’s advertising and marketing requirements. In 2004, Stephen sold the agency he founded and joined Riviera as Director, Brand and Communications, running BrandCom, the internal marketing department of the company.

Tony Stevenson

Tony Stevenson is Mission Australia’s Queensland State Director. He is committed to a viable and proactive non-Government sector which works alongside families, children and individuals to inspire self-confidence and hope, and enable people to build on their strengths for a positive and independent future. His background of over 30 years in community services includes leadership, policy development and program delivery with Federal, State and Local Government, private consultancy and the non-Government sector. He was the principal consultant for the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Reform of Children’s Services in Australia and a committee Chair of the Australian Health and Community Services Ministerial Council.
